  • Simple types can contain measurement units. It is incredibly important to capture the context of some data types i.e. are you measuring an infusion in in mg/decilitre or micromole/litre etc.
  • Measurement units can have symbols.
  • Measurement units can be derived from one another - this should be traceable.
  • The catalogue comes preloaded with a set of SI and SI derived measurement units.
  • They show which data types use them AND it should be easy to see which data elements, classes, models, domains use those data types etc.
