Federated Metadata Working Group

Organisations across the UK public sector are creating metadata solutions to make their data more Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR). As they work to develop intra-organisational solutions there is an opportunity to make these interoperable and work towards an inter-organisational approach that can deliver FAIRer data across organisational boundaries.

This federated working group has been convened to bring together a group of metadata enthusiasts across healthcare and administrative research and develop an interoperable metadata specification that will enable a federated approach to metadata management.
