Basic Comparison of Roles
The following table describes the functions available to a user with a single role assigned to them. Multiple roles can be assigned to a user to create a user with access to the required functions. Suggestions can be found below the table.

Suggested User Roles
Admin / Supervisor / Manager
Description:
Super user with full admin privileges, including user creation
Setup:
Select ROLE_SUPERVISOR from role section when creating a user.
Onboarding User
Description:
This user creates and edits datasets and submits them for review to the Reviewer
Setup:
Select ROLE_ONBOARDING_USER from role section when creating a user. Assign the user to one or more usergroup.
Reviewer
Description:
The reviewer can respond to “Submit for Review” requests and choose to finalize/publish datasets on the onboarder
Setup:
Select ROLE_ONBOARDING_USER and ROLE_REVIEWER from role section when creating a user.
Onboarding Viewer
Description:
The ROLE_ONBOARDING_VIEWER can view datasets in the Onboarder, but is unable to create, update or delete them.
Setup:
Select ROLE_ONBOARDING_VIEWER from role section when creating a user.
