We are excited to present our latest release: 2024-R9-v5.0.0. After two weeks of UAT, this release went out to production sites on the week commencing 8th July 2024. Highlights

Backend Framework Upgrade

As part of the Version 5.0.0 release we've upgraded our backend framework, resulting in a more up-to-date, faster and secure platform.

Enhanced User Management System

We’ve enhanced our user management system with the following features:

• new user signup functionality

• a new user browser that allows you to view all users on the same page

• a variety of options to export user data (including Csv, Excel and Pdf)

• new simplified roles

New Features

• Enhanced User Management System: signup functionality, new user browser, export options and simplified user roles

• New Importer Options: including the ability to configure periodic imports from external databases

• Create a Copy of a Dataset: an exact copy of an existing dataset which includes both the descriptive and structural metadata

• Ask the Expert Widget: this feature allows users to ask a question about any specific item in the browser in just a few clicks

• Fixed an issuer where the Supervisor was not able to change the privacy setting of a dataset in the Advanced View
