Organisations across the UK public sector are creating metadata solutions to make their data more Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR). As they work to develop intra-organisational solutions there is an opportunity to make these interoperable and work towards an inter-organisational approach that can deliver the benefits of data catalogues across organisational boundaries.
This federated working group has been convened to bring together a group of metadata enthusiasts across healthcare and administrative research and develop an interoperable metadata specification that will enable a federated approach to metadata management.
