How do I find data?
The Browser is public facing data browser that provides technical users with access to data standards.
Features:
Search for datasets or data standards.
Filter search results.
Browse dataset metadata.
Tutorial:
To begin, open the Browser by pasting MDX Browser > Search (metadata.works) into your browser. Note, you do not have to log in.
You may choose to search for a specific dataset by typing a term into the search box or simply by searching for a dataset using the filters to the left of the search results.
2. Filter by Keywords to only view datasets that relate to a certain topic(s).
3. Filter by Partner to examine the data held by selected organisations.
4. Click on a dataset to learn more about it.
5. Here you will find a summary of the dataset (title, organisation and abstract) and any attached assets.
6. Click on the section headings to explore the data further:
Summary: the first section includes a short abstract and contact details for the publisher.
Documentation includes a rich text description of the dataset or links to media such as documents, images, presentations, videos or links to data dictionaries, profiles or dashboards.
Document Control shows information concerning the authoring, review and approval of the data model.
Version History shows you the versions of the dataset.
