Data Model Policy

Data Model Policies are rules that apply to a data model such as:

• • Standards or guidelines when developing models
    • i.e. no special characters in data element names
  • Or they can be used to ensure that a new client completes all the appropriate metadata before creating or finalising an item

• There are a number of default policies but Data Model Policies can also be created and configured by admins through the user interface
