This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to configure a periodic import from an external database. By following these steps, users can easily set up a system to periodically profile databases and generate new data models at specified intervals. 1. While logged in to the onboarder, navigate to the Importer.
2. Click on Data Model Live/Periodic Import.
3. Enter the name of your new Data Model.
4. Select which schema you would like to use.
5. Click the Use External Database field.
6. Select the Database Type from the dropdown menu.
7. Enter the Database Schema.
8. Enter the Database URL.
9. Enter the Database User login details.
10. Select whether you want to include the profiling data in this periodic import.
11. Select how often you want the import to occur.
12. Click Submit to begin the import process.
