We are excited to present our latest release: 2024-R8-v5.0.0 Beta. This release went out for UAT on [Date]the Thursday 20th June 2024. The site will be available for UAT until [Date - 2 for a two week period ] and is due to be released to Live, pending UAT on [Date]all live production sites on Thursday 4th July 2024.

⚙️ Backend Framework Upgrade
As part of the Version 5.0.0 release we've upgraded our backend framework, resulting in a more up-to-date, faster and secure platform.

We’ve enhanced our user management system with the following features:
new user signup functionality

Ask the Expert Widget
This new feature allows users to ask a question about any specific item in the browser in just a few clicks. When you submit a query, the widget will automatically generate a service desk ticket with a direct link to the item you are enquiring about, whether it’s a data model, data class or data element.
📑 Create a Copy of a Data Model
You can now create an exact copy of an existing dataset which includes both the descriptive and structural metadata.
