Version Types
Data Models may have several different versions. These can be in a number of states:
- DEPRECATED - if a new version of a model has been published and finalised, the old version becomes deprecated.
- DRAFT - if a new version of a model has been created and is in the process of being edited before publication it remains in a draft state. There should only be one DRAFT version of a data model.
- FINALIZED - once a draft model is ready to be published it becomes finalized - at this point it is assigned a new version number and cannot be edited.
Colour Scheme
A colour scheme has been employed to easily differentiate between the versions of a Data Model and its components:
- Yellow text/background denotes that an item is a DRAFT
- Black text or white background )
- denotes that an item is FINALIZED
- Red text/background denotes that an item is DEPRECATED
