In this article the process of User Registration for a new user is described from two perspectives: the perspective of the new user, and the perspective of an administrator.

The general progression is that

• A new user registers, but is not yet able to log in.
• The administrator
  • configures (global) roles and (Data Model-specific) permissions for the user,
  • enables the user,
• and then the new user is able to log in.
