1. While logged in to the Onboarder, click on the Admin button and then select Security Portal.

2. Next click on User Admin.

3. On the User Browser page you can view and manage existing users as well as create new users.

4. To create a new user, click on New User.

5. Enter the username, password and email address for your new user.

6. Select the Organisation from the dropdown menu. Most sites will only have one Organisation.

7. Next select the Role(s) that are most appropriate for the user.
A brief description of each role can be found below. For further details, please see your knowledge base for a full breakdown of the permissions associated with each role.
Guest: A guest can view public data models via the Browser. Credentials are not required for this.
User: A user can view private, public and draft data models on the Onboarder, Advanced View and Browser.
Curator: A curator can create and update descriptive metadata in the Onboarder.
Editor: An editor can create, update and delete both descriptive and structural metadata in the Onboarder and Advanced View.
Publisher: A publisher can finalize data models.
Admin: An admin can manage users within their group.
Supervisor: A supervisor can perform any action.

8. Next, select the User Group(s) that your new user will be able to access.

9. Finally, click on Create to create your new user.

10. To manage your existing users, return to the User Browser.

11. You can sort the table and use the search bars located at the bottom of the table to find a specific user.

12. To permanently delete a user, click Delete.

13. To edit an existing user, simply click on their username.

14. You will be able to edit the same form filled out during user creation. Click Update to save your changes.

15. To export a list of your users, click on one of the Export options at the the top of the User Browser. You can choose to copy the data to your clipboard, export the data as a CSV, Excel, PDF or print the user details directly.
Please note this will NOT include their passwords.
