This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to import a new data model outside of the standard structural metadata format using an Excel file and accompanying XML mapping file.
1. While logged in to the onboarder, navigate to the Importer.
2. Click on Import a new data model with Structural Metadata (Excel).
3. Enter a name for your new data model.
4. Select the structural metadata file you wish to import.
5. Next, select the mapping file (XML).
6. Click on Metadata XML Schemas to download a copy of the XML Schema Definition (XSD).
7. Click Submit to begin the import process. If there are any mapping errors within your files, you will be notified.
