A data steward is responsible for:
Managing the data asset in terms of the specific responsibilities, authorities or accountabilities given to them by the Data Asset Owner for the data asset, or an aspect of it.
Nominating data users and assigning to them specific responsibilities, authorities or accountabilities for a particular data asset, or an aspect of it.
