Creating a New Version of a Dataset

1. To make changes to a published (LIVE) dataset, you will need to create a new version of your dataset by clicking on Create New Version on the Progress Overview Page.

1.  Find the dataset of which you wish to make a new version in the Onboarder. Note that this must be a LIVE dataset.

2. Click on the link to the chosen dataset e.g. the title.

3. Within the Onboarding wizard, click on the link to one of the sections of that dataset e.g. Summary.

4. Once in the section, you will see the Create new version button on the top right of the screen.

5. Click the button and you will see the screen below; click Confirm Create New Version.

 3. The following message will be displayed.

2. You will see the screen below as the new version is being created.
   

   View file
   name Invalid file id - ed80c500-7fbb-4ed1-8c1d-bcd6f1a80c06

3. You will then see the confirmation message showing that the new version has been created as below.

4. Once a new version of your dataset has been created, you are free to edit the metadata as you require
